Before and after your treatment
What to do in the days before you come in, what to expect while you heal, and when to pick up the phone. Aftercare makes a real difference to your result — it is not an optional extra.
Always follow the written aftercare you are given at your appointment — it is specific to your treatment and takes precedence over anything on this page.
Permanent Make-up
Pigment looks darkest in the first three days and lightest around day ten, so the result you judge at two weeks is not the one you keep. Keeping the area dry is the part that matters most.
Plasma Fibroblasting
Small carbon crusts form within hours and must be left to fall away on their own — usually five to ten days on the face, longer on the body. Picking one is how a fibroblasting result goes wrong.
Facials, Peels & Microneedling
Facials, peels and microneedling all leave the skin’s barrier temporarily open, so the days afterwards are about sun, heat and leaving actives out of your routine rather than about the treatment itself.
Tattoo & Permanent Make-up Removal
Removal works in sessions spaced six to eight weeks apart, and blistering in the first days is expected rather than a complication. What you do between sessions decides how many you need.
Brows & Lashes
Lash and brow work is chemically set and needs twenty-four to forty-eight hours dry to hold. Almost every disappointing result comes from water, steam or rubbing in that first day.
Body Contouring
Cavitation, radio frequency and lipo laser release fat into the system to be cleared, so water intake and movement in the twenty-four hours after each session are part of the treatment, not optional extras.
Tattoos
A new tattoo is an open wound for the first few days and a healing one for a month. Keeping it clean, lightly moisturised and completely out of the sun is the whole of good aftercare.
If something does not look right
Contact us and we will look at it. Send a photograph if that is easier, or come in — we would far rather see you than have you worry about it at home.
